Why wouldn&#8217;t people buy more expensive products on a platform? Does every consumer then want the exact same thing? <br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Merkado Bol com Mythe 5\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2P0BFcmuZVQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m not going to mince words.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is no secret that low-end products in categories such as electro, kitchenware, toys, etc., sell very well on online marketplaces. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately, this did create a perception among companies that high-end products do not fit this bill and therefore do not sell well.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>But make no mistake, one does not exclude the other !  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bol.com is the store of all of us and with <strong>5 million daily visits<\/strong>, there is a buyer for every product on bol.com. And a product for every buyer too ! <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If there are customers looking for the small prices, there are also those looking for the more expensive, high-end products.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The big difference is that buyers do need more information during their decision-making process for a large purchase:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Can they easily return the item if they don&#8217;t want it anyway?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What are the exact dimensions and other relevant product information?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Can we make a delivery appointment?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How do I install it (if necessary, of course)? <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What accounts for the difference in price?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So you best answer all the questions they would otherwise ask in the physical store.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>So the myth is not true<\/strong>. More expensive high-end products do sell on bol.com &amp; other online marketplaces. <em>But<\/em>, you have to pay enough attention to the questions and concerns of those potential buyers. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We wrote out a lot of interesting information on how best to display your product in the bol.com showcase.
